LIFE Trust has pioneered numerous initiatives in the field of education to empower underprivileged communities, and were the first NGO in India to have:


  • ​Signed an MOU with the government body Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), establishing support of our programmes. 
  • Worked with Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) to create a working system for their Anganwadi Sevikas (Teachers).        
  • Created Introduced  digital classrooms in BMC Schools Government Schools. 
  • Established digital learning for tenth standard students (15-16 years old) in BMC schools Government Schools.
  • Introduced student counselling across MCGM schools.
  • Been invited by BMC School, a non-profit school in Mumbai, as a founding Committee member to formalise their Articles for Students. 
  • Provided educational toys to the Anganwadis.
  • Established a  Centre for Learning Disabilities in partnership with Nair Hospital.
  • Conducted Self-Defence classes for girls in MCGM schools.
  • Conducted Differential Aptitude Tests for students in several MCGM schools.
  • Created and conducted a Teacher Training module to improve learning outcomes in the Anganwadis
  • Launched teacher-centric  events and health camps in anganwadis ​
