Poor Oral Hygiene is observed in over 50% of urban children, with Socioeconomic inequalities being a key determinant .

The cost of dentist visit and dental procedures are very high and so most of the poor avoid going to qualified practitioners.

Poor Oral hygiene has an impact on the overall health of the child and affects his growth and health.

To help children overcome the issues we have started conducting Dental Camps across the Slums of Mumbai, The camps conducted include:

  • Dental check up of the children and adolescent girls
  • Awareness of good oral hygiene practices
  • Providing the patients with prescriptions
  • References to partner hospitals for procedures

We along with our partner the Government Dental College Mumbai, cover over 100 patients in each camp.
