Why we
do it: To empower women, to be economically independent, aware and attain
social leadership.
What do we do:
We form Self Help Groups in Urban slums and provide them need based vocational training
, courses include tailoring , beautician , Hand Embroidery , Basic Electricity and
house wiring , Maintenance of domestic appliances and others. We also have awareness
programs and awards for women achievers to develop role models for other women in
the communities.
How do we impact:
Our awareness programs reach out to more than 3500 women every year and need based
vocational training is conducted for more than 400 women every year.
